Starland Ballroom to auction ticket packages for Japan earthquake relief
Much of the spring schedule at the Starland Ballroom is already sold out. Tickets for upcoming shows by the Deftones, My Chemical Romance, All Time Low, Coheed and Cambria, and Three Days Grace haven't been available for a long time. Starting on Thursday, the Sayreville concert venue is giving fans another chance to get into these concerts. The Starland will be auctioning off a tickets and meet-and-greet package for each show, with all proceeds from the sales going to the American Red Cross' earthquake relief efforts in Japan.
The auctions open on March 17 at 3 p.m., and bidding will remain active for a week. The opening bid for each package is $100. The two MCR shows are among the most anticipated of the spring -- they'll be the first the Belleville band plays in the Garden State since the release of "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys."
