Yeah, Vampires is great as last song! :D So it was just a shorter set, no songs replaced the 3 missing? I've heard that sometimes, depending on the place, bands are given a time limit to finish shows...though it could still be just that they ended up too tired after the previous ones.
I just got home. I don't think they cut the setlist short because of a curfew because they stopped at like 1045 and I have seen bands (Green Day and Biffy Clyro) play until 1130 in the past year or two.
I may have missed some songs though as where I was standing was pretty manic and I wasn't entirely sober. I don't remember him mentioning Grant Morrison which I though was odd as Gerard always mentions Grant at Scottish gigs (and the below screencap shows he did). So if I missed that I might have missed other stuff but from my memory it was the same setlist minus those three songs.
I saw someone from one of the support bands say they (said support band, I mean) had to leave some songs out 'cause they were told they were late (though according to them they weren't). So no idea if there was some time issue today or what! I'm thinking it was probably that MCR felt the setlist was too long as it was, anyway. Just weird that they left Kids out -if they did- though! Now, personally, out of those 3 songs I'd have only been bummed about Sorrows, anyway. And I wish they brought Prison back. Not like I'm seeing them any time soon but...I just miss it when I watch videos from the new shows on Youtube!
