Flashbacks to the old WSOU interview from 2003, when the band talked about showing up in Madrid to home-made MCR t-shirts and fans treating them like they were at a soccer game.

Let's do this! They had a nice couple days off, and I can't imagine they flew home and back, so hopefully they got their rehearsal on and practiced some new songs ;-)

If they're not playing until 10:30 Madrid time, is it safe to assume they're headlining this festival?

Unfortunately/fortunately Frank actually did fly back according to his Twitter. He usually books it as quickly and as often as he can back to Jersey, presumably he was back this morning.

And yup, they're headlining this night!

Interesting. I guess the flight from NY to Madrid is about 8 hours, and they did have 5 days off so it's not crazy. But I have to imagine that would wear you out! But I wouldn't want to be away from my babies either.

Hopefully it'll be a great show!

Apparently Gerard and Mikey at least have been chilling in Barcelona. :D So they should be nice and rested.

Haha I posted at the same time. I do hope they'll stream MCR on that radio. I couldn't find any confirmation other than for Eels, and the tweet seems to only talk about tweeting during those shows!

Some said we'd be able lo listen to MCR's show here: http://www.rtve.es/radio/radio3/ (where it says "radio 3 en directo") but they're not transmitting the whole thing, so I'm still trying to confirm it. They'll be transmitting Eels now, and MCR plays right after they finish (different stage) so it is possible. But on the other side, I read on a forum that the radio show ends right before MCR plays so...no idea! I guess I'll try in 45 minutes just in case.

Since they're using MCRs picture to promote it it'd be awkward if they didn't.

But they're the headliners and the radio is covering the festival, which doesn't always mean they're allowed to stream all the bands. :/ Reading what it says there, it sounds like they'd be streaming the whole thing, which they aren't, so i don't think what to expect! I'll check in 20 minutes, I hope we can listen.
