[Awkward] Gerard and Mikey Interview

I don't know about you guys, but this is the most awkward interview I've seen in a while.
Anyway, the interview is uploaded by BBC Radio1 on YouTube, where Gerard and Mikey are being interviewed. They talk about their dressing room, Lady Gaga, Gerard's made up scale to warm up his voice and more.

...from 2:59 to 3:19 Gerard suddenly became a redheaded but otherwise exact copy of my father. I now need to go rethink my attraction to him, and maybe kill myself.

*groan* The resemblance really is uncanny in that bit - not physically so much, though I can sort of see one now that I'm looking for it, but his intonation and words and head movements are all exactly right. EXACTLY. RIGHT. I so don't need that in my head about a guy I have a semi-crush on. ;_;

Oh, he was awesome - smart and artistic and talented, and really interesting and avant garde, and he would doing absolutely anything for us kids. We were really close, despite my never once winning a game of chess against him in 31 years (the bastard), and my never gaining a proper appreciation of either Swedish death metal or Sun Ra. He had a rare immune system disease and died a few years ago.

To be serious for a second, it's really kind of ridiculous that I never noticed before, given the hours upon hours of interview footage I've watched. Then again, I can be really oblivious sometimes, especially about people stuff.

That's really interesting actually, that you found something so literal to relate to. And I can tell you loved them both a lot.

And it's absolutely okay to add me, and I'll add you back too! I like interesting people too - that's my usual criteria for both friends and romantic partners. I haven't posted in forever, sorry - I tend to feel the urge come and go.
