I think the "you" covering two of the clocks is from a Rolling Stone cover. ( http://blogs.edf.org/climate411/files/2010/01/YouIdiots.jpg ) but I'm not sure if that's even relevant to anything. Woo, yeah, irrelevancy. \o/

Actually that seems incredibly relevant. Global warming? The battle for the planet? Seems EXTREMELY significant especially since the planet, in this future universe, seems to have gone to pot.

My theory on Agent Cherri Cola is that she (I guess, going off News A Go Go telling her to be ladylike) hasn't switched sides yet but will. She working for them but seems pretty disillusioned, and this is pretty much conjecture but I'm thinking Dr. Death Defying will eventually make contact with her and get her to join the resistance.

...Maybe. I DON'T KNOW.

Not sure what to make of Tommy yet: this tweet could possibly be urging people to abandon the city for the desert, which, with News A Go Go asking about him and him saying he quit his old gig, maybe means he deserted whatever that gig was and is already with the resistance.

Cherri definitely seems to have gotten increasingly angry as the tweets go on. Actually so does NewsAGoGo. They both seem stressed out. I definitely agree that she was working for The Man but is maybe questioning that or getting pissed. Also happiness seems really important, she says "keep smiling" at the point where she's most exhausted.

Re: Tommy. Yeah he's weird but that's super interesting, your theory on him. And is it just me or did NewsAGoGo strongly imply he's crazy?

That's definitely what I got from "is he operating on all pistons" but I have no idea what "or has he finally started a cycle" means. Unless maybe Tommy's a robot. But I'm still not sure what a cycle means in that case.

Yeah, that's what threw me from that theory as well. Unless it's just a simple play on words or just rolling with the metaphor. Because that seems to be mixed signals. What the fuck does starting a cycle even MEAN.

Not sure how much we can glean from this but Jon Rivera (who is most surely involved) retweeted this theory.

The two things I see from this tweet are the fact that we should probably assume that Dr. in the case of Dr. Death Defying is referring to holding a doctorate/PHD. If we're going the global warming consequences direction the comment about the sun makes sense as well. But we don't know why Jon retweeted this, perhaps he just thought it was an interesting theory or perhaps he just agrees with one aspect.

Jon had said that he was going to LA,he had a job to do... Something IS going to happen in LA and he is involved. Maybe the zone stuff has to do with where each one of them is - I'm not sure if Frank is in LA, but he is involved with the twitter part.

I've got nothing to add but was just reading this altpress article and there are some amazing theories being worked out in the comments of it -- I love how smart and dedicated MCR fans are!

I'm loving how all the different factions of MCR fans are getting into this, the people on tumblr, the people on twitter, the people here. Everyone is really getting involved and engaged, so nice to see everyone back again. :D

That's totally it -- it's beginning to feel like a big family again, with the guys playing with us and leading us on a merry chase. I love it, it's one of the best things about being an MCR fan. :)
