Resolution

Jan 02, 2004 02:12

gah, I feel so tainted. I went downstairs to make a snack, and I come back upstairs to see what? ElimiDate on my television screen, defiling it, defiling my room, defiling my home and defiling me. And not even a good kind of defiling where you feel dirty and guilty but at least you enjoyed yourself.
ah, but there is a silver lining to the cloud. I hurredly changed the channel to Nick at Night, and Three's Company was on. John Ritter is (er, was) hilarious. anyone who disagrees deserves to be sternly argued with until either they or I get tired of arguing and agree to disagree.
and the Hot Pocket that I made was good, that was another silver lining. really, I don't know how something that you take out of a freezer and nuke for a couple minutes can be so good, but it is. I should resolve to eat more of those this year.

~gasp~ resolve? year? New Year's Resolutions? why that sounds like a MAIN POINT (dun dun duuuuuun)

So, what do you all think of em? good idea? bad idea? chance for self improvement? chance for masturbation? (trick question, self improvement is masturbation) concealed way for people to whine about how they wanna change without taking actual steps to improve it? do you make resolutions? do you keep em? did you make any this year? what were they? did you break em already? do you want to know my answers to the questions? should I answer in an efficient and hilarious way like I did a couple posts back?

Well, to change things up I'm gonna answer the questions in REVERSE ORDER! (dun dun duuuuuuun) No, my answers will be long and drawn out (yes, both, not just one or the other), though I will try to keep them as hilarious as possible. I will once again assume that you do want to know the responses to my questions, since if you didn't you'll probably have stopped reading and thus can't prove that I was wrong. I did break one of my New Year's resolution already. My resolution was to stop asking so many questions in my LJ posts. I also resolved to avoid using random tags in my posts, which I have thus far managed to do... crap, scratch that one off the list. obviously, yes, I did make resolutions. did I make any serious ones? sorry, can't answer that, I can answer questions from the previous paragraph only.

there, now I can answer that one. no, I didn't make any serious resolutions. I did sort of make some resolutions at the end of last semester to go to classes, do homework, etc etc. I scheduled myself to work before classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, so I'll always have to be awake for classes, that's a step in the right direction, at least. hum, shouldn't I have answered that question first since it was the last one and I'm going in REVERSE ORDER! (dun dun duuuuuuun) and now what do I do about these last two questions? on to another paragraph!

I just ignore those last two questions, and I technically should've done that other one first, but I couldn't since it hadn't been asked when I started. Instead it creates a paradox which will lead to the destruction of the universe. Eventually. Now, I'm feeling too lazy to answer the last questions, cause I don't really have any deep thoughts on New Year's resolutions. I wonder if Jack Handey has any deep thoughts about em? If he did, I bet they'd be hilarious...
