So my little avatar dealy over there is a photo I took around 4am during the last total lunar eclipse, the next of which is scheduled to happen tomorrow from 7:01 - 7:48pm. Seeing the moon in the absence of the sun's light was a very surreal experience for me, putting it's depth, and our place in the universe into a new perspective. If you're not too busy I highly recommend you find a nice place to watch it.

The US military will also be shooting down a defunct spy satellite sometime around this time frame which may be viewable from the West Coast as well.

enjoy!
