New York day... Thursday.
Let's see if I can remember everything. Wednesday afternoon I went to American Ballet Theater's production of Giselle. It was WAY cool. :) If I understood it, it was an opportunity for two of the company's lesser lights to take their shot at starring roles. The woman who played Giselle was really, really good. The guy (already a star) who played the male lead was spectacular.
After the show I went down to Greenwich Village and had some pizza and read in Washington Square, then I headed up to see my brother in law preform at the Broadway Comedy Club.
Today I had lunch at ShakeShack, then went to both the Neue Gallery and MOMA. I was amazed. I knew that both of these galleries were world class, but I didn't really realize just what all they had. Stuff I have seen pictures of for years, and there it was standing right in front of me.
Tonight I went to see the Mets play the Phillies. The Mets lost :(
I will try to get some pictures together at some point, but my computer is going too slowly to upload stuff.
