Crocs can be a nice compromise between close toed shoes that don't allow your feet to breathe and open toed shoes that show off those same ugly feet. That's why I wear them.

I have objections to plastic footwear. They retain moisture.

And, as I said, it's entirely opinion.

I know it's opinion, but I still like to argue! *evil grin*

And while I agree about plastic footwear, the holes do make a difference. These aren't like the jelly shoes I used to wear in high school, and unlike tennis shoes, they don't make my feet stink. They have much better air circulation than you'd think.

I'll stick with my Dr. Martens. I've had these boots for ... 8 or 9 years. COMFY!

I own a pair of #4. My feet are ALWAYS cold.
Other than that, I pretty much agree. Especially on #8.

Frankly, the thought of you in platforms is slightly scary, if only because all the walking into doorways would leave you looking like a Klingon!
