It is 1997 and the final war between Harry Potter and Voldemort is over. The Death Eaters have gone into hiding, some have been arrested and the students who were in their 7th year at the end of the war have graduated. Most have started their roles in life as adult witches and wizards, although some still struggle to release their greif for their lost ones.
For months things were harmonious and all existance was going peacefully. The dementors were back at Azkaban, the giants in the hills and the goblins back at Gringotts, restoring the wall that had been damaged the year before.
All was well, or so it seemed.
Months later, rumors were spreading about deep seeded rebellion from the goblins, centaurs and trolls. It was brought forth that Dolores Umbridge was back on her path to regulating half-breed envriroments and rights. Not soon thereafter, the children of Death Eaters started to meet in private, discussing ways to rally troops and defend their deceased Dark Lord. Families affected by casualties of the war were now coming to the bitter realization that their loved ones may have been slain in the name of vanity and lies.
A small census of the wizard population has formed rebellions geared with an army of questions, and after Dolores Umbridge was sacked from the Ministry of Magic, she decided that she would be the forerunner of the riots and protestors. Making it her personal quest to aid the families of the "unforunate", it is now her goal to bring "truth" and "penance" to all of those who have suffered.
The other half of the wizarding community is not impressed with the rebellions and is in outrage. They feel that these people are not grateful for the fact that He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named was defeated and gone after two decades of terror. Small legions were formed against the protestors, and this leads us to today.
the game
All Was Well is a game ran by many experienced Role-Players, in and outside of the Harry Potter fandom. We are excited to bring this game to life, and expect things to take off rather smoothly. The game is over at GreatestJournal (we like icons) and is launching on the 31st of July. We hope to see you there.

Currently, we are looking for EVERYONE that we can have. So far, only Arthur, Molly, S. Fawcett and Luna Lovegood have been claimed, so please come over and check us out. After most of the Alumni spots have been filled, we will be opening the game to original characters.
