Ann Arbor News...
I don't know if anyone happened to catch yesterday's Ann Arbor News, specifically the front page of the Entertainment section.
There's a fantastic article about my friend Karl Pohrt, and the Shaman Drum Bookshop, and their transformation from a commercial bookstore into a community literary arts center. I chatted with Karl last night, and I'm really excited about the future of Shaman Drum. I can see many of my creative friends teaching or hosting writing workshops, publishing workshops, and eventually, book-signings, or making in-store appearances there. There is much hope for Ann Arbor.
Just wanted to make sure that important news didn't get lost in all the band reviews and other stuff.
