Things are moving at a steady pace. Yesterday
absintheskiss bought me a metric xenoload of Dark Heresy books. Bye bye productivity! Here's a terrible confession - I feel intimidated by the amount of stuff that's in these books. FFS, I could probably quote old World of Darkness canon backwards and forewards at you until your head spun but this stuff is dense. It's also a lot of fun. Gaaah! Help!!
This week's been funny - not sure if it's the time of year, impending holiday yet my goodwill towards humanity in general is paper-thin at the moment. Anger management appears to be a new priority - whether this is due to the last three years of canis nigra or just general idiocracy and the news of another MP spending public funds on a duck sanctuary. Hmm. Not sure I like this current trend.
Work on 56 continues apace. I've hopefully secured a waste disposal guy who will show up on Tuesday afternoon The plasterer/plumber shows up on Tuesday eve to get a key to start things on Wednesday. On Friday we depart for Manchester to head to the airport (6am? Ack) to then fly to Lisbon. Then it's a 2 hour drive to Coimbra and a week with the loco parentis and two cats. Yes I have drugs, before you ask.
News of a local friendly gaming shop being set up by the boyfriend of an acquaintance has prompted me to wonder about my own plans in game publishing - yet another blog I'm working on seems to be going in circles at the moment yet I have to remind myself this is how wheels turn. Just hope there's progress after all. I am bemused by the sunshine. It's very nice. And there's going to be a lot more of it. Which is nice.
