And suddenly people bring me news.
Robert Rodriguez to make Predator movie. This. Is. What. I'm. Talking. About. Ever since the Wolverine movie appears to have more scenes of Hugh Jackman looking upwards and roaring (did this fuel the HJ is gay? rumours) than actual plot to speak of and the pile-up/clusterfcuk that was Crank II, Hollywood has been disappointing me since Watchmen. And if you're very observant, you notice that someone is making a Jonah Hex movie (link contains Megan Fox in corsetry - be warned!) so you're welcome. There may be hope yet.
I've booked the flight to Kyrenia! No turning back now. We have a stopover in Istanbul for a couple of hours - wonder if we'll be allowed off the plane briefly - I've always fancied visiting Istanbul but as Mum lives in the area (well kind of), any visits will become a tour which cranks the prices up a bit but hey, jet setter lifestyle has it's own hazards.
Listened to the new Queensryche album American Soldier - it's not easy listening or commercial hit material but they've never really been about that. The samples of American soldiers talking about their experiences make it powerful and musically it's the usual brilliance.
