This is a piece of art by Andrew Gonzales called Angel of Nekiya. I discovered it this morning on my early morning surf and ah, how lovely. There's a lot of similar stuff at his site, if you like, go take a look. Clearly my inner goth is returning - flee in terror!
Off to Hinckley later for the weekend for extended SEF plotting, friendship and general asset checking so that Double Edged Sword is cool. Speaking of the monsters, we need crew for the player characters to see through their dimming vision as they gasp their last brea - er interact with and do stuff.
We need Jaffa. We need aliens. We need peasant medieval village sorts (how many planets with serfs?). It's cast of 1000s stuff, fun and extra opportunities to put the wind up those player types. Costumes are available but if you have something neat, bring it and we'll use it.
Go to the SEF/UKGC forum, sign up for crew duty for it is free (barring transport to the event) and there will be flapjacks, tea and shelter. And you get to play with a bunch of good people in an enjoyable modern LARP.
