something old, something new

Relocating new PC to workstation and recabling complete.  Old workstation is lurking behind the new one as a totem of data to be plundered and is currently awaiting networking.  In related news am working up new stuff for various projects and think I might be able to afford the luxury of putting a couple of new blog posts up on creativeaegis.  Maybe.

There are indeed worse things than being a BPAL experimental sensor.  Particularly Tezcatlipochtli.  Mmm, strong bad.

The birthday of the increasingly decrepit theo1 (lay it on thick for comedy win!) was an occasion for celebration.  Teppanyaki at Flaming Dragon was a pleasure and the sole pint of Rutterkin at the Sal was nice.  The unexpected glam disco upstairs was fun (recognised a few familiar faces) and being called 'the brother I should have had' by H. was a bit aw shucks...  conversation around the new 4E incarnation of D&D led me to look for some ideas on differences.  Trust in Slashdot to refer to the goods.  Some very late nighy conversations with
paulbroz about concepts for SG:UK saw us plunder some esoteric sources which I hope will cause certain academic and scientific types to collectively wet themselves.

On the SINergy front have worked up Nazgul's set for October already (I felt the need to test out the sound system on this new box) and this has sparked some impatience to get things done that side.   Proppage has been discussed and I'm feeling a little wary but confident I can pull this off in time for October.  Need to do some maintenance first.

This week feels promising, I'm looking forward to it.
