Random:
2 weeks ago I hurt my back really bad -- it's feeling much better now. I did it by bending over to pick up a frisbe.
Yesterday, I shut my left index finger in a door...my finger is OK despite some throbbing and a blood blister under the skin.
Katie bought me green crocs for an anniversary present :-)
She was headed to SC today for her brother's induction into the Marines...they missed their flight and now must miss the entire day in SC and arrive about 7 hours after they were supposed to.
Saturday we go get Cyrus Jones and will be headed to a camp ground on Lake Ontario where Katie's parents have a permanent trailer/camper -- we'll be introducing Cyrus to the family and meet Katie's brother's new girlfriend.
I am Olympics-Obsessed I call it OO. I have watched gymnastics, handball, kayaking, swimming, boxing, fencing, water polo, beach volleyball, and men's field hockey (I'm sure several others I can't think of). Katie and I spent the entire weekend devouring the Olympics watching every second of the events broadcasted. We also planted some very pretty mums in the front yard -- we have a jump on fall already haha.
Next weekend, Katie and I are taking Nathaniel camping for doing so well in school. He is so excited! Over the year I have bought him small tokens to take with him. A sleeping bag, a flash light, new clothes to wear, new shoes etc. The other day I bought him a fishing pole and a beach towel. He has no idea that he is getting presents -- he just knows he's going camping :-). That little guy is too cute for words and he's almost 7!
I can't wait for Nate to see Cyrus -- he's going to love him! I haven't told him about the new puppy hehehehe.
