Busy Bees

Dada spent the morning installing a new huge hard disk on the upstairs computer to store all my photos, while I hung out and played in the living room. Then, I had a short nap which made me a little edgy for the rest of the day. Fortunately, after I woke up, Reading Rainbow was on and Levar was visiting with a beekeeper. I LOVE busy bees! Bugs! Bugs! Beeeeee! That show made my day. At the end there was even a rap about the busy busy bees.

Then we ran off in a hurry to my Polish Grandparents to get there early so we could get home early and get cleaned up and in bed. But we forgot Grandpa's CDs, my running shoes, and that Grandma was still at work. We did remember the gate this time, though. We spent some time playing and running around while waiting for her to come home. Then we had some dinner. I was open to trying new things. I ate a little bit of apple and a little bit of pear. Then I had a taste of shredded beets with some apple, served warm. I had a second taste, too, but not a third. I had some meat that I chewed on for a long time and ended up spitting out. It was just too chewy. I prefer chickit. And I think I also had half a gnocchi noodle. Then I was done with the experimentation and profusely refused anything else. But Dada knew I couldn't say no to Os and a cheese stick. So, that was the rest of my dinner. Then I played some more with Grandma, and then somehow we ended back up in the kitchen, and Grandma showed me yet another "ap-ple!." (Everything's an apple. Apples, lemons, etc. This time it was an onion.) I thought it smelled good, so I took a bite. Then I took another. It was pretty good.

Came home, took a bath in the nice clean tub, had some milk, made another #2, got changed and sang to, and now I'm snoozing soundly snuggled with my kitty.
