Repeat last week's bullet points with the following adjustments: move the top point to the bottom of the list, and make the first 'bullet point' "I can't see." Meaning, I can't see the actual worth and value Christ has given me, and that I need to work on my perspective in that manner (as well as keeping an eternal one).
Irony: today's message in church was titled, "Overcoming Myopic Egocentricity, or, Quit Being So Dadgum Self-Centered" Before the message started, I even thought about how oftentimes the message is about the exact opposite of what I think I need to hear. I didn't feel like it was "meant for me," but there's always something to learn. The points from the message: Make sure your heart wants the right thing, put your energies towards the right thing, and look in the right direction.
Actually, they were all the negative form. Learning from what a group was doing, they wanted the wrong thing, etc etc. I just like the positive view better. Perhaps that's all I need to do?
Anyways, prayers for me on any or all of said points would be fantastic.
