I'm not a laptop person, but I think this is a pretty good deal. They said that Acer just bought out Gateway. Also, the deal from the TV is at $999:

I also found this DVD-writable as a SATA drive, but with Lightscribe, at Best Buy for $43.99 ($51.99 clearance, plus it was a returned item). They're on clearance because the 20x are coming out.
