Wait, I'm confused. What is this trailer for? Some of the special features on the DVD? This was really cool, whatever it is. I wish we had seen the movie in the theater a second time but we just couldn't get our act together. The non-3D DVD experience can't compare, but I am really looking forward to the documentaries, making of, etc., etc.
Yeah, it's some kind of special-feature thingy for one of the special-effects teams. Cool stuff!
Wish I'd seen it in 3D, but couldn't get anyone to go with me. Will TOTALLY buy the blu-ray disc, if for nothing else to see the special features. And, one day, to finally see it in 3D. Seems the new blu-rays are coming out with 3D as part of the thing, but also have the normal 2D on the disks, too.
Oh man oh man, you must see it in 3D purely for the sense of depth on the moving parts of the Jaegers.* I cannot believe nobody would go with you!!!
*Just like the only reason I saw the first two Transformers movies was to watch the beauty of the machinery in 3D. Couldn't give a shit about the rest of it.
Well, the 3D in Lawrence is kinda crappy (read: DARK), so it means a long drive to and from KC. Add into that that several of my movie-going companions cannot see in 3D, and, well....
Thankfully, my (now-old) plasma TV can run 3D, just needs a firmware update. And a 3D blu-ray player. And 3D glasses. So maybe not until the player breaks. BUT THEN, IT'S ALL 3D ALL THE TIME, BABY!
PS: Speaking of shows, lookit what I just ordered! Didn't realize the new season of the Sam & Dean Roadshow was already on sale!
October 15 Yippee! I never made it to see this movie at all. Except, Boo because October is my traditional Horror Movie Only month. I guess it *is* a Monster Movie, yes?

Any time you have gigantic monsters attacking major cities, I think it's fair to call it horror. Probably a bit more accurate than SF in terms of what some people call SF!
