Finn had been having car troubles lately. His car was old and used and it didn't do too well during the winter and crazy cold they got in Lima. Burt had taken it in to the shop last night after it had broken down to see what he could do. Finn was hoping it would be fixed soon because his mom had had to drop him off at school this morning. Finn loved his mom, of course, but it was kind of embarrassing to be dropped off at school by her after the age of, like, twelve.
So, here he was, stuck without a ride home. He had been tempted to ask Puck, but the new Hudson-Hummel residence wasn't too far away from McKinley, so he decided to brave the cold and walk. He was a big guy, he could handle it. He didn't even wear a real winter coat, even though it was, like, 30 degrees outside.
Still, it ended up being just a little too much, so he decided to stop in at the Lima Bean. That sounded really good right away, so he moved inside and stepped into line.
