It was another trip to the coffee shop alone for Blaine, and it was beginning to feel strange for Blaine. He and Kurt had spent so often hanging out in the past few months, that it just seemed to become a tradition that when one wanted coffee, the other went along for company. But ever since their fight, things had been strained. Kurt made more excuses of being busy, and Blaine let him. Tension needed to be talked out, but how could it be if they didn't seem to have any time together.
He took his medium drip coffee over to a small spare table by the window and sat down, easing his bag down onto the floor beside him. What he did know was that everything that had gone down with Rachel, there was no way Kurt would just happily continue on like nothing happened. Sure, Blaine got his back up when the bi conversation came up, but it was only because he was annoyed Kurt wasn't supporting him, or at least just hearing him out. There had been misunderstandings and confusion all around... now Kurt was being evasive, and it was really starting to get lonely.
Blaine was lost in his thoughts about the whole situation that he barely noticed when someone approached his table and greeted him. With a blink to draw him out of his trance, he glanced up and found Mercedes standing there and he got up out of his seat with a smile. "Oh, hey Mercedes. It's nice to see you. Join me?" he said, gesturing to the seat across from him.
