Kurt had sat in his car parked on the curb outside Quinn's house. His sunglases were pushed up onto his head and he just sat there with his head resting against the seat in thought. He was so exhausted, he felt like he could sleep for a week. The relief at his Dad regaining consciouness had set in, taking the form of an extreme lethargy. Maybe he even did just need to sleep for a week, but he had some things he wanted to do first.
He finally got the courage to exit his car and make his way up the steps to Quinn's front door. He swept his hand over his hair, making sure it was all in place and he quickly checked his appearance in the mirror. Anyone would think he was going on a date with how nervous he felt, but this was probably more important than a date. This was Quinn, and he needed to talk to her. He rang the doorbell, the corner of his lip catching between his teeth when she eventually came and answered. He shifted his weight from one foot to the other and then before either of them could say anything, he just wrapped his arms around her in a clingy hug.
