Who: Jesse St. James and Charlotte Avery
What: A welcome distraction
Where: A classroom
Rating: G?
Jesse St. James is finding it exceedingly difficult to focus on anything except how bored he is. The teacher, of course, stands in front of the blackboard at the front of the classroom, lecturing on something-English? History? He can't remember, doesn't care-so dull that Jesse has taken to staring out the window, at endless bright green grass below a cloudless blue sky. He knows without looking at the clock that the school day isn't even close to being over, and he sighs-quietly, so as not to disturb. Not that he cares about anyone else; Jesse just doesn't particularly relish the thought of being called on to answer some inane question.
He only glances away from the window when he becomes aware of everyone around him stirring, moving their desks and using the opportunity to chat quietly with their friends. He guesses that they've been assigned some kind of group work, and, remarkably unconcerned, waits for someone to approach him with an offer to work together.
