Yesterday I took a refresher course for ameteur radio and took the exam. Woot! I am licensed radio operator now through the FCC. I am awaiting the call sign they are going to assign me ( Read more... )

Whoo hoo!

I wish I had known you were going to do that. I would have liked to do so as well. At least I was able to work a full shift of overtime yesterday.

Was a bit chaotic the past week. Forgot to post that I was going. However, they are running a course here in January sometime for the Tech and the GROL and Extra Class licenses. The test will come at the end. The only difference in the three classes of amateur radio is the amount of frequencies you can operate on. I know there probably is more to it than that, but from what I could see just skimming through, that is what I saw. The class was free and the test cost me $14. I should be getting an email on that and when I do I will give you a holler.
