Joseph Mallozzi has a wordpress account, and occasionally he posts episode breakdowns; things that happen behind the scenes - concept art, discarded script dialogue, explanations of why they chose to do things the way they did.

The Broken Ties Breakdown, however, has yielded some amazing, discarded McShep dialogue

nevermind, I see it was in the actual script. I love that the guy apologizes to the McSheppers that it didn't make it.

I actually created an alternate set of gifs, too, where Rodney goes about convincing John, who eventually agrees XD I'll post those eventually.
