Author's Notes: A simple, uncomplicated story, it's more about putting to sleep a plot bunny that's been nagging me than anything else. And, yes, I have an irrational fear of dentists and put off a root canal until I was screaming with the pain. And I went through childbirth with no meds to give this story some perspective. This is nothing more than a welcome distraction from current life and other stories that have major problems requiring some serious brain time.
