Inspired by melagan's penchant for young-ish McShep… and enchanted by a few recent Abercrombie & Fitch ads, I made a couple of old photos. The ads seemed tailor made for college-age John and Rodney, but I wanted to take the pair back even further. I thought of a second or third generation finding these photos among John and Rodney's belongings - perhaps in a reality where they met as young men. In a time when loving each other was a much bigger risk, and something they never discussed with anyone, especially their families.
