Summary: Sometimes attractive Lt. Colonels who are trained to be very observant can be exceedingly slow on the uptake. Add to that a kitten underfoot, and there can be all kinds of trouble.
** This is part of the Trouble With Kittens Series that the-cephalopod came up with. We're writing installments, sort of a "5 ways something happens", only in this case, it's various and sundry ways that a troublesome kitten could lead Rodney and John to each other.

Author Note: I find it much easier to write from Rodney's POV, but this one just seemed to be coming from John's perspective. I hope that I have written him believably in character. Concrit is adored. HAS NOT BEEN BETA'D. This is my first slash ever. I hope it passes muster.
