My gay little Pink Imp hasn't won me crap. I was so excited when he evolved and now... I keep leveling him but it's so slooooow! What's your secret?

I also couldn't go to any of the new areas. I went into one cave, and Ayla was all, "Oh no! Too many monsters! We run away!" and it booted me back to the world map. And another was someplace I couldn't get to in the Prehistory era. Is there any special trick to this or am I just dumb?

I dunno if I really have a secret. I had a Medusa, and I trained the SHIT out of her.

Maybe send your imp out to train with feral claws to see if there's another evolution in there?

And ALSO, yeah, you have to start in the prehistory era and basically just land the Epoch right up next to the gate.

So, if my Pink Imp doesn't evolve...do I have to set it free? And if I do, will it let me start over with a new Smidge, or what?

Thanks for the tips about the Lost Sanctum! =O I suck when it comes to things like that, so I probably would have wandered about forever, wondering what to do.

Lord knows I love Chrono Trigger but... I have the original SNES, emulator and PSX release version. D:

CONVINCE ME WHY I NEED the DS VERSION.

Also, I ALSO HATED CHRONO CROSS. I tried! I'm into retro games and playing all the stuff first! D: But alas, it was to no use. I thought it was boring as all hell and now like 10 years later, I've resorted to spoilers and the storyline is... at best, weird. D: I DO NOT UNDERSTAND ITS APPEAL.

ahaha so do I, sans emulator. I AM A WHORE FOR THE SERIES.

ANYWAY THIS IS WHY YOU NEED THE DS VERSION:

1. Portability!

2. THE POKEMON ELEMENT of the Arena of the Ages!

3. New quests, new items, new bosses in the lost sanctum and dimensional vortices!

4. The unused battle theme and Singing Mountain are now used! :D

5. It's not as god-awful slow as the PSX version.
