Is this like the "vampires are attracted to bright colors" thing in The Wish? Vampire mythology that even the Slayer believes in, that just isn't true?

8 The problem isn't the suckiness of this episode per se, the problem is its suckiness considering the place it occupies in the story arc. It's an important turn in Season 6, and it's part of Willow's arc that has been building SINCE THE END OF SEASON 2. Seriously, we've been working up to this moment -- well, for where this moment goes in the Dark Willow climax, really -- for that long. SINCE THE END OF SEASON 2. And, in retrospect, this episode is more of a fumble, not a lost game. But still. Grrr. Argh.
