CATCHING UP
Been a long time since I posted. Life has been going on or maybe just going. Many of my friends are on Facebook so they see my multitude of posts there (except for September when I messed up my account so only two people saw my posts. This resulted in concerned phone calls, to which I didn't get the connection.)
Now while friends are writing November Novels, I am trying to figure out how I am going to handle a weekend with 4-6 house guests and making cookies. Always have a problem with feeding guests, because we eat when we are hungry and often (except for evening meal) at separate times. Dishes are done every two-three days, which doesn't work when you have company (even if you have two dish washers). I detest paper plates -- but UD then will use plates even for toast. Perhaps I am worrying a bit too much. We live in the land of 1000 restaurants.
My father's income tax letter finally came through and I owe even more than I thought. Cannot believe a company charged him over $1000 to do his taxes and then missed THREE items of income -- one of which was his pension (should have been obvious) and one was a check from them for Fucking up his taxes another year. Duh! Sure he was old and cantankerous, but you are supposed to be the largest and best tax preparation service!!
