Went to open auditions last night. Didn't get called back :(
I guess I should be used to it by now, or something, but it still sucks. Also, no internet in the apartment til Monday. Luckily, all my classes today are lectures so I can sit in the back and be online. Mwahaha >.>
HIMYM: Do I Know You?
Barney is in love with Robin, which Lily tries - and fails - to help him out with. Marshall is jobless. Ted is... engaged! To Stella! Unfortunately, he doesn't know that she's allergic to peanuts, her favorite color, or most importantly, whether or not she likes Star Wars.
She hates Star Wars. But she's willing to pretend for the rest of her life that she loves it, because she loves Ted that much. Aw, why can't she be the mother? I really like her and Ted together :(
Meanwhile, Lily sets Barney and Robin up on a date, where Barney is awkward and adorable and Robin is oblivious. Apparently it's a new rule on my shows that the guy must be smitten and the girl must be clueless :| Anyway, she tries to set him up with the waitress, and he tells Lily that he walked out on the waitress. Then the waitress comes out of his bedroom asking if the tickets for his big game against the Mets are in his name or hers. Oh, Barney.
I love that Lily is now allowed in Barney's apartment, and she seems to be the only one who's ever seen the inside. Marshall and Lily are still really adorable, though they didn't have much to do with each other this episode. Still love Stella, and her and Ted are great together. Robin's headlines get more and more ridiculous. I was watching this in the library, and it was a real struggle not to laugh out loud during her little thing about the ice cream truck and the floss. I hope she DOESN'T get the job at the new cable network, 'cause I love the headlines at Metro News One.
BONES: The Perfect Pieces in the Purple Pond
Um. Okay. Basically, there's some kid who died and was boffing some lady a gajillion years older than him and he had OCD and his mom had OCD and his mom killed him. Meanwhile, GotW thinks Brennan was hitting on him and Angela's all ZOMGWTFNO. Sweets tries to fix everything and mostly is just weird.
Also. Zack comes back. And in the big "Hey guys, we were mad at the AMPTP and didn't really mean the finale!" moment, he reveals he wasn't the one to kill the lobbyist, but doesn't want anyone to know because then he'd have to go for prison. Although... what for? If he didn't kill anyone, all he's guilty of is blowing up the lab, and the only person who was damaged in that was him. So he wouldn't be in prison for very long.
I just hope they're getting rid of the GotW structure, 'cause I'm getting sick of it.
The BB stuff was just awesome, though. As usual. And I'm glad we got a bit more of novelist!Brennan. They should follow up on that movie deal she had with Penny Marshall in S1.
