Its horrible what happened in london. but its retarded how transportation is beefing up security right now. the terrorists are that stupid to attack the same thing twice. they should always have armed guards on the subways, because there's nothing stoping a guy with a bomb to hop on the 2/3 train at 42nd street and kill like 100 innocent people. Same thing after 9/11. The National Guard flew fighter jets over NYC and DC in the weeks following the attacks. Yea right as though the terrorists would attack that soon and the same location. i bet in about 5 months, all the new security measures will be lost, just like how 5 months after 9/11 that guy tried to set off a fire in his shoe on a plane - he was able to even get on the plane with matches due to security, which was promised to be reformed after sept 11.
o yea like some terrorist is going to jump out with a slingshot and try to take the whole train. but still it might do something, why can't security be like this all the time? I would feel a little safer if they didnt just do these temporary little things to appease ignorant people and make them feel safer. they should send out guards to patrol and inspect the subway cars, because for all I know, the next time I go to school I could be a victim.
