Nearly a year ago we left you with one of our coveted mini-adventchas, and it’s high time to renew some faith in teh funny. The last time a Gallagher’s home received a beating and we were granted an appearance from our favourite Thom York. This time we begin our tale at pub quiz night in good old London town…
Ewan was busy trying to coerce a few people in the queue ahead of him to move out the way so he could grab a drink from the bar quickly and get back to the game. Attempting anonymity, he looked like he had just walked away from the scene of a homicide. After a few more verbal jabs in the direction of the woman in front of him, he threw off his sunglasses and decided to bowl through the line to get to the bar. With his name being cursed behind him, he took his vodka tonic in hand and completely ignored the glares and growls he received while trying to make his way back to the booth. Ewan was cursing Jonathan’s name under his breath. Of course he had to pick the busiest bar in the city to meet up at and all for some silly quiz. Nearly spilling his drink when a prancing waiter in a cow print shirt bumped into him, he held his hand over the top of the glass. With a kick of his foot into the server’s calf, he made his way over to the booth Jonathan was lounging in. Taking a backward slide, he glowered across the table at his friend. “You know, you could have informed me that they had people here to wait on you. You wanted to see me get eaten alive by a bunch of wannabe cowboys.”
