I submitted a summer poem eligible for distribution throughout Yahoo Contributor Network and its partners, rather than view only on YCN. Making it eligible for distribution not only means more exposure (and possibly more pay), but also improves the review time to 10 days or less. However, they don't specify whether it's 10 calendar days or 10 working days. So I don't know if I'm going to have an acceptance or rejection by tomorrow or have to wait until way later in the week. ARGH!!!!
Seriously, Sabs. How the hell do you manage to wait and wait and wait for answers on your submissions???? It is already making me crazy, and I've only submitted 4 things and all to one place. When I start submitting more and to various sites, will it get better, because any answer could come at any (staggered) time? Or worse, because you're stressing about so many different things? How the BLAZES do you do it?

See that icon? Since I coshed myself in the head yesterday, I should be full of inspiration, right? LOL. And yet I find I can write nothing, and partly because I am waiting to see what may or may not be "acceptable." Though I strongly suspect that Yahoo Contributors are not being very picky about poetry submissions (as opposed to how hugely I'm going to panic when I start (!) writing articles). And that's without having looked at any of the other published works on there, just me being insecure. there's probably massively wonderful stuff there and it's going to make me even more insecure. I should go look though and support those other writers, huh? it's not like it's a competition...
