Surprise parties, Homecomings, PSI and Thrift Shopping...
Starting with surprise parties...If you've never made shirts and posters and bought balloons, party hats, and noise makers to take to the airport to welcome someone home, you're missing out. Do that the next time you have an opportunity. Angela and I did it for Joe and Aaron, since they came back from Africa on Saturday! I know, very exciting. We were pretty pumped. I think we liked doing it more than they felt welcomed. Did that make sense?
To add to the homecomings, Jess and TJ came home today (they've been gone since May)! I didn't know they were getting in today and Jess picked me up from PSI. It was great, having your best friend gone for 10 weeks sucks. Just so you know.
PSI....hilarious. Oh, the quotes I'll have when this week is over. I have to miss Wednesday though, and I'm actually really upset about that. As awkward as today was, it was still fun. I think it went well for the first day though, throwing 20 kids in a room and making them to talk about sex and their opinions is bound to be awkward. We all signed up for it though, so it's our own fault. :-)
Thrift shopping (kind of) with Angela was great. We only went to Remedy, but I think that counts since I got a dress that I'm never going to be able to wear, it's just amazing. Maybe we'll figure out a way for me to wear it and not look ridiculous. That would be nice, haha.
So all in all, I guess you could say this has been a wonderful week. :-)
