The Green Party of England and Wales
After many days of thought & consideration I've decided to take the plunge and become a member. I don't hate the Liberal Democrats, I still consider myself a left-liberal & I would would never even think of joining Labour, but it is what it is. The three biggest parties are for all intents and purposes the one and the same: variations of the same centrist party. It's a personal opinion, but the Lib Dems are the least of the worst. There's no such thing as principle in mainstream politics (any more). That's not the kind of world I want to live in. None of the three major parties are committed to spreading opportunities to the many by penalising the privileged minority. Greed as a culture needs to be changed. And I want to be part of that.
