It's amazing how Lord's still looks largely the same (including the Long Room), sixty-two years later. But even when you visit it now, it feels like a wonderful mix of past and present. Not a bit out of date. Impeccable landscaping, it stands out like no other home-of-sports venue. The stands have become bigger, the Media Centre is new but almost everything else is as it was in 1950.
