I'm amused by the sign. Ah, Oman. Have to say I'm confused by the picture. It doesn't look like anywhere in Oman I know. Oh, maybe Salalah? Do you know?

Yup, it's the Dhofari mountains by the Yemeni border. Beautiful cliffs.

I'll be back in the UK during that time (going to be on the continent from late October-early January), and I'd like to spend at least a couple of weeks of that time back in London, seeing everything I haven't seen yet (well, try, as if seeing everything is possible!). The cost of hostels being what it is, I'm hoping finding a short-term place to stay in a flat or houseshare that could be cheaper than hostels.
