Procession of the Species
Went to the Procession of the Species parade in Olympia today.
While getting ready, I didn't know that the clock was broken so instead of being an hour early as I thought we were, Rocky and I were running very late. I found this out after getting ready to go to the car and having my glasses break. They're held together with super and hot glue and well, need to be replaced soon. It was a miracle they made it through the parade.
To add to the stress, it was raining on the way down there. Finally we got to Yelm to meet with the Lion of Yelm and Sugra Tiger five minutes after they were supposed to leave, but luckily they still were there.
Sugra nicely drove us the rest of the way in his van.
In downtown we met with Gusty Fox and went to the apartment nicely provided to us for a changing room.
When we go to our element of Earth, we found doc_mcdowell, Caly, and Rummy Cat, were there.
The sun broke right about the time we started! Caly had her Tiger Gryphon Suit, Lion of course in his Lion of Yelm outfit, Gusty Fox in his very blue fox suit, Sugra in his white tiger, Rocky could be Raccoon suited since Doc was there with hands, and Rummy was running around painted as a leopard and very animated and cute.
I'm really really happy to have a phase change vest and neck band! Couldn't have done it without this.
We all had a blast, I'll try to get some pictures posted later.
