autumn extravaganza reminder: starting soon!
Hi, all! Figured it was time for another reminder, since we're running this a bit differently this year!
It's approaching autumn, which means our annual community Autumn Extravaganza fest!
This year we're going to do things slightly differently, especially as we have a few WIPs and unfilled prompts from the last round, and we want it to be very low-stress. We're going to run it much more like a Madness round (think Remix Madness, or Secret Mutant Madness) with prompts available to all, and no guaranteed fills. We'll put up the Big Rules Post on Friday the 18th, along with links to past prompts, but for now, here are the general guidelines for this year's Autumn Extravaganza:
--on September 18, one of the mods will make a post with links to all past prompts from previous Autumn Extravaganza years. We are NOT inviting people to leave new prompts, with one exception: if you have not left any prompts in previous years, meaning you are new to this whole thing, then you may leave up to four prompts.They need not be autumn-themed, though they can be if you'd like!
--you may fill any prompts, regardless of whether or not they've been previously filled; you may fill as many prompts as you wish; you may continue or complete one of your own Works In Progress from a previous round
--art and fic fills are both fine! no minimum word count, either--again, low-stress!
--we hope that everyone who contributes a fill also receives one, and we might even try to make it happen, but--unlike previous years--we will not guarantee it (sorry! all three of your mods are having Major Life Events right now!)
--the tentative deadline for all works is November 21, but extensions can happen if we get to that point and there's a common consensus that we could use more time
