... Okay, that belongs on wolfshirts. Mikey is the one to start MCR with Ray and Matt and eventually Frankie, and Brian sees that show in Hoboken and brings his ditzy boyfriend, who's like OOOOH BAND and flounces around a lot.

I imagine that before then, the band was pretty casual to the point of grunge; good music, but pretty average staging and outfits and no attempt at drama. And Gerard would come in and be like "VELVET. Get me velvet and paint and then LEAVE."

Ray would be kind of nervous about leaving this madman alone with their stage, but they'd wander off, and when they came back it would be all mysterious and blood-spattered. Gerard would also be mysterious and covered in paint, but he would explain very carefully how all of the set pieces could be disassembled and moved, and Brian would beam with pride before dragging him off for reward sex.
