The band

Ok, so I survived the party, and now I'm moving around again. But you don't know about teh party, do you? Well, in short, my little sister threw a going away party for her friend. There were at least twenty-five 15 yr olds there, and they were insane. Oh, and did I mention that they brought their band? So it was 25 teenagers with a teenage band, live. They were not bad either, until they started singing... They had a little guy singing, and I wouldn't have thought a little guy go have a voice so deep at 15, he even made Odie sound squeeky. Oh, and just so that you nkow, the band came complete with amps, speakers, and microphones.

And now its over. The house has recovered from teh shaking and mess the kids left, and my poor little sister had to clean up most of their mess. I say most because not a chore gets by without my parents telling me to help. So not only did I have to watch them for teh first hour and a half, but then I got to clean up after them. Reminds me of my job at Harper...

So yeah, I've picked up my dad's guitar a few times since I've been back. I say my dad's and not teh one I borrowed because his sounds so much nicer. I've been teaching myself a fair bit, and I really enjoy it. Except for the pain in my fingertips... every night for a week. Maybe I should stop playing all the time and let them heal...

During the day I have the pleasure of preparing for work on a patio that I will be putting in over the summer. That's cool, though, because I actually enjoy this sort of thing. This and yardwork... and fixing things... and putting things together... and throwing things out windows... but enough about me, back to the patio. I hope to have it finished by mid-July, because we are having a Schaefer family get together. That should be fun too. And at some point I will be having my "Official 21st party". Don't know what that means, but my dad is planning it, so it can't be healthy...

Other than those wonderful happenings, my life has been teh same as usual. Read two books since I've been home, soon to be on the third. Had a little trouble sleeping for a few nights, mostly because of a crazy recurring nightmare. That was just weird... I never have nightmares. and when I do I cna usually change them. But not this one. Its gone, now, so I'm happy. I don't remember any of my dreams that I've had since, except that I tend to wake happy. A very good sign.

Lets see, what else can I possibly say... I miss Auburn? As dead as it is, and I'm sure its pretty dead, I'd almost rather be there. Almost. But then I wouldn't get to be put on hold for days by a possible future boss...
another story entirely.

As for now, I think I am spent, so I am going to bid all my avid readers goodnight.
Talk at you next time.
