Well I'm back! Been to Hong Kong, Sydney and Bangkok (very very quickly!! Well actually just for one hour!). It's now Wednesday night and I'm so sleepy but trying hard to stay awake until bed time, don't wanna get jetlagged and stuff...
No news on the job front, still waiting for the agents to come back. They really piss me off, so unreliable. Certain overseas agents didn't even bother their ass to call me back.
Hong Kong was amazing, hot and sunny, exactly how I expected it. I met up with my friend Manda, known her for so many years, it was great to finally meet up. It went really well, she's a beautiful girl, and her boyfriend is really handsome too. Well, I guess that's natural for English guys hahaha :P
Sydney was great as well. Actually I wasn't sure at first, but after a few days I grew to love it. It's kinda small compared to London, very tall but very small. It's a beautiful place, the Harbour Bridge and Opera House of course, but also loads of other parts of the city. And of course I got to have my very own Koala again for 2 weeks. Actually we spent like 24/7 together, it was perfect. It's very cheesy and cliche and predictable to say, but I really never imagined I would feel like this. When I've loved someone in the past, I've always loved 95% and held back a little piece that I'm too scared to give. This time I've given 100%, I've really opened myself up in the way that I didn't think was possible. This is the hardest thing to do, long distance is never easy but particuarly between UK-Oz it's gonna be even worse, but he is worth it. I keep pinching myself to check that this is real... Anyway we did the Harbour Bridge climb, went out to the Blue Mountains, generally bummed around Sydney, had a great time. I actually don't know how I'm gonna get through the next x number of months without him, sigh.
Flew back through Bangkok, 24 hours. Bleurggggggggggggggh it's long but the service was great, watched some cool movies, chatted to some cool people on the flight. Can't wait to go back to Sydney now..
Got a kinda busy week coming up now. Gotta chase the job agents, have dinner with friends almost everyday and generally catch up with everyone, seems like I missed a lot while I was gone!! Only less than 3 weeks and so much happened! Now gotta go.. the jetlag is kicking in, can't concentrate to type!
