Who's leading for the House cup now? I've always wondered about the Shrieking Shack. Is it true someone's been murdered there ( Read more... )

As long as it's from you, I'll be happy.

Don't worry about it.

No thank you. I've got one that's memorable enough to last me for a lifetime.

I'll keep apologizing for it for the rest of my life.

The Christmas gift has nothing to do with me biting you. I want to know what you want for Christmas.

Well, they say it's haunted. I assume that would be because of murder. Why the interest, though? Afraid of the Shrieking Shack, are you?

Hogwarts is haunted, what with all the ghosts around. I doubt all of them died here. Could be the things in the Shack sort of migrated. I've been in this school for nearly seven years, I thought I'd express some interest in the surrounding scenery.

That's a good point. Why are the ghosts here? Of all places.. But I would think actual haunting ghosts would stick to the places they lived in. You know, the ones bent on doing harm, rather than peaceable, like the ones here.

Biggest magical venue in the British Isles? Hogwarts might be a vacation spot for them or something. You never know with ghosts.

...But has anyone actually heard of any specific murder in the Shack? I know it's supposed to house dangerous spirits, but has anyone seen it first hand?

Moaning Myrtle is not peaceable.
