What's the saying "a day late and a dollar short"? Well, it's more than a day and more than a dollar but at least I'm finally getting around to a post. Just got home from Berlin last night, and leaving for Seattle tomorrow. But I'm doing pretty good, sorted through three and a half weeks of mail, unpacked the suitcases, answered the US census bureau survey that arrived while I was gone, and now doing my post for last weeks shot. Not bad for just having traveled a quarter way around the world yesterday.
So, the T update: can't figure out if my skin is getting a bit tougher or if it's just dry as hell from the cold in Berlin. Same with the voice, deeper or just a touch of Kaden's cold? Sigh, guess there isn't really much to report at the moment, though Kaden says my face and bearing look more masculine. Could just be that I am carrying myself differently.
As for Germany, it was a really nice to get a chance to spend some quality time with some of Kaden's friends who I had heard so much about. It makes me sad that we can't be closer to them. Would someone *please* get on with making that teleporter?! I also got some stylin new clothing items, demos soon for those at WW.
Happy to be home again though, was nice to sleep in my own bed and cuddle with my own kitties. Not that Moxie (K's cat) isn't a wonderful cat to cuddle with *smile*, but I missed Hannah, and Ceis, and Purrrcy (I swear I didn't name him!).
Should be a fun filled weekend at the WW conference in Seattle. Kaden is meeting me there on Friday, he is still in Berlin. Meanwhile I'm headed out tomorrow (Thursday) and spending some time with T.Y. before the conference begins. Will be nice to see him again, it's been almost two months. So looking forward to seeing all my other PNW friends (hugs to Glow and Jamie) as well as meeting new people like Kaden's ex Sgt. C and her partner N. Will be an interesting mix of current and former play partners and various other relationship dynamics.
Time to go start laundry and do a few errands before getting my stuff packed up again.
