"A History of Violence"
David Cronenberg's thriller about violence and identity stars Viggo Mortensen as a family man whose criminal past comes back to haunt him. Very cool flick: the opening sequence is chilling in its portrayal of casual, almost relaxed, viciousness. Also with Maria Bello and Ed Harris as a very nasty mobster. Grade=A-
