Yesturday was our second improv for FP. We played some really fun improv games and then worked on some scenes. I got to be a coke addict daddy and threaten my children. WOO HOO! Everyone was going over to kelsey's house for a pool party, but i couldnt cause i was going to an ELTON JOHN CONCERT! Heck yes sir elton. I was also meeting greg and emily to see if i could find a batman costume. B-) Oooooooo yea. I walked out of North Carroll (which is where we practice) and kim and drew were there. I was like...woa. It was good seeing them.
I went to the mall, and greg and emily and i had some lunch at Chick-Fil-A. I finally found Newsies at FYE!!!!! Huzzah! Emily told me she has a week left before she's kicked out. Im really worried, cause my mom now doesnt think she could let emily live here .The idea was thrown around, but my moms worried it would become a long term thing. It upsets me, cause i want to help emily so bad, but i understand my moms concern. Anyway, while we were eating we saw a bunch of the FP kids arrive. Heather came up to our table and talked to us. So i said hi to everyone and we were out.
The costume shop was across the street from the westminster mall. They didnt have any batman costumes. :-( BUT, they did have a utility belt, gauntlets and some batarangs. So i got them. :-D Emilys never been trick or treatin' before (her mom thought it was satans holiday), so this year we are SO trick or treating. They had a great costume at this shop that was a "couples costume", and it was an outlet and a plug, and we all cracked up. I said emily and greg should go as that. Well, i had to leave for my ELTON JOHN CONCERT, and as i was leaving i saw Brett (another FP'er), and he told me that there was another costume shop down the road that HAD batman costumes!!! So i drove over there, and lo and behold there they were. So i got one. It's pretty freakin sweet.
I went home and tried it on, along with my rubber mask, cape, and all the stuff i got today. Its SOOOOO cool looking. I cant wait for little johnny next stoor to see me. :-D
My moms friends arrived, and we all went to the concert. We ate lunch at some chinese place in china town. I didnt really like my sweet and sour chicken. It was just like, "Hey, look at me. Im chicken." Not much flavor. I think my waitress wanted to kill me too cause i couldnt understand her when she said, "Vegetable Spring Roll." It was scary.
The concert was great, even though i was SOOOOOOO tired by the end i almost fell asleep to a few songs. I love elton. This is the 4th time ive seen him.
