First day of the last year...
So today was my first day of my senior year. It was...well...quite boring. I got up, got a shower, and left to pick nick up. Apparently he didnt realize that when you pick someone up in the morning, they are suppose to look for you. So i sat in the car for about 5 mins waiting for him, but we were finally off.
We had to be at school early to practice our drama skit, but the audiorium was locked as what Mrs.James's room. So we forgot about that and got some breakfest. Then we were pleasently surprised to see Greg and emily arrive. They came to say hello to the teachers. It was kinda weird thinking that they were only visiting. They werent there to stay for classes and what not. Anywho, we went and found Mr.Delise, the freakin coolest teacher in the world!!!! Hes a shakespeare teacher, and we've known him since my sophmore year. We started the Rude Machinicals, a shakespeare acting troupe, with him that year. We talked about that for a bit, and then it was off to homeroom. Well, it turns out that i dont have indipendent study drama. There is no friggen reason why Mr.Cockley should not have approved of my indipendent study. But my moms gonna talk to them about it (haha! the power of parents!!!) Mr.Delise grabbed me in the hallway and told me i needed to take an AP English class. O, by the way, i passed my AP US history class from last year. WOO HOO! Anywho, he helped me rearrange my schedul so i can have AP Lang i believe it was with him. I just need to get the office to approve it. So, after that, it was off to hear some meaningless, pointless motivational speaker. The man was just promoting his book he wrote, and told us that having fun should NOT be our number one priority in life. O, and talking to friends online is a waste of time too. Yea...pointless...FRIGGEN pointless.
It was time to do the 7 Deadly Sins of High School for the seniors. It went well, save for the smart allicks. But it was to be expected. We did some improv skits to show the rules as well. Nick had to dress like a girl, and wore short shorts and well...lets just say, it was NOT school appropriate. I dont think it would be leagal in vegas for that matter. After that, we did the skits again for the juniors, then it was off to a picnic with the advsories.
We ate hot dogs outside. It was cool seeing all my buddies from last year: Colin Sprague, Andrew K, Mike Appell, Nate Baker, Jarret Dixon. We sat around joking around, and i got to know a really nice exchange student from Chile. Well, we went back to our advisories, and then it was off outside for the entire school picture. I saw Megan Crampton there, and we talked a lot while we stood in the blistering heat waiting for them to take the bloody picture. It was bloody ridiculous!!!
Afterword, nick and i went back to his house to see greg and emily there, and greg and nick and me went to the dentist for my check up on the wisdom teeth. He said things looked good, so we went to target and i stocked up on school supplies. I bought ALL BATMAN folders and binders :-D Thats right, im just that cool. Greg was fascinated with the Mario All Star Baseball game for gamecube, so we let him play that. We left, and went back to my house, and then off to Chili's with my parents.
My mom started getting REALLY emotional at dinner cause we kept talking about college and such. So i gave her hugs and kisses, and told her i loved her. I can tell this is gonna be a ruff year. Kelsey called while i was in chilis. She is upset b/c i mentioned her seduction plans here on LJ, so any of you guys out there who are scared and wont go near her...go ahead! I was only joking...*shifty eyes*
Greg and nick and i went to Khols after that and lounged in the....lounge...section. I bought lots of long sleeve shirts and a batman hat. And then we dropped nick off and went to emilys.
We came back here, and i talked to kelsey on the phone a bit more. We're gonna hang out tomorrow before FP, which is gonna be SUPER COOL!!! Emily, greg and i watched Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, which is a GREAT batman movie. Its animated, but has such a deep plot. And of course, the joker is HILARIOUS in it. They left and i did some pointless homework, and of course cut some corners. Thank you internet ;-)
It still hasnt hit me that im back in school, which worries me. It just feels like i went somewhere today, and tomorrow im gonna hang out with greg or nick, ya know? I think the homework is gonna be a slap in the face. I just wish i was in a dorm with greg right now, watching Christian Bale movies and writing scripts. It needs to be next year NOW.
